Welcome back to Less Lonely, More Loved - ordinary people exploring their queries of faith.
Talking points for today's episode include; Christmas trees and felt menorahs; moms as holiday magic-makers; why Elf on the Shelf = “monetized mom guilt”; pathetic Atlanta “snow”; and the eternal gift of self-care. We hope you come along for our Advent journey - all are welcome!
This is our first of two episodes exploring “Joy” in the context of Advent. Our guest today is the wonderful Kristen Silton; a supermom of three children in an interfaith household who gives her take on the chaos and joy of the Advent season.
Joy, Part Two will premiere on Thu. December 16th, so stay tuned!

Less Lonely, More Loved - Peace, Part Two
Friday Dec 10, 2021
Friday Dec 10, 2021
Welcome back to Less Lonely, More Loved - ordinary people exploring their queries of faith.
Today is a bit unorthodox - Jess and Meagan were having great conversations while the microphone was running before we even began the formal podcast, so we decided to include it!
Talking points for today's episode include; Jess & Meagan’s enneagram types; whether the writers of the Bible were actually “good writers”; being clueless about how to talk about peace; eating an elephant one bite at a time; yoga class shame and how that relates to spirituality; and a whole lot of talk about racism and reconciliation. We hope you come along for our Advent journey - all are welcome!
This is our second of two episodes exploring “Peace” in the context of Advent. We are happy to once again have our liturgical experts Jess Cusick and Meagan Williams to guide us through a verse from Hebrews and try to figure out - what does this have to do with peace?
Joy, Part One will premiere on Tue. December 14th, so stay tuned!
If you have questions, comments, or anecdotes you want to share with us, email our producer Matthew at mcesari@stmarkumc.org. Your questions may be featured on future episodes of the podcast!

Welcome back to Less Lonely, More Loved - ordinary people exploring their queries of faith.
Talking points for today's episode include; mice and schizophrenia; whether or not Jolly Rancher candy canes are a sin; a Texan Garth Brooks Christmas; Aaron’s Saint Mark hymn confusion; being dropkicked by Jesus; moving during a pandemic; and oh, let’s not forget our staple of Christmas conversations - a light dusting of capitalist critique. Do we really talk all that much about our theme of peace? That’s for you to decide - come along for our Advent journey, all are welcome!
This is our first of two episodes exploring “Peace” in the context of Advent. We’re excited to welcome a double-whammy of guests this week; Atlanta newcomers Anna Rader and Aaron Groves.

Welcome back to Less Lonely, More Loved - ordinary people exploring their queries of faith.
